Here are some letters from two studios that have recently participated in the USISTD program:
"Dear USISTD,
I am the Coordinator of the Ballroom Program at Sandra Cameron Dance Center in NYC. As the Coordinator I created the Medalist Classes at our school. They have been very successful not only because of the teachers but because of the presence of Miriam Ellis, the examiner. Ms. Ellis has conducted examinations at our school on four different occasions. She presented herself in a most professional and organized fashion and has encouraged our students to continue their studies. They have gained confidence from their experiences with her because she has been positive, enthusiastic and accurate. I recognize that Miriam is a wonderful example of the high standards that represent the USISTD.

I have just completed having 7 individuals take their professional exams here at BYU. To my knowledge it was a very positive experience for everyone. Both Mandy and Miriam were extremely helpful in providing any information I needed for organizing the exams. The usistd website was also very helpful. Studio owners Angel & Tulane Rivera, of A TIME TO DANCE, in San Diego, CA says that the USISTD Examination process was "life changing" for them and their students.
