August 2010 - Chris Thompson of the Dance Factory hosted another successful Medal Test week-end in Arlington VA. The staff did an excellent job preparing their pupils. During the weekend Chris also offered the pupils an opportunity to attend workshops taught by the Examiner.
The First Workshop included the subject of how to look good on the dance floor and the second was how to be a good partner. they were both a lot of fun and in the "partner" session the followers became leaders and the leaders followers. The sessions were inter active and allowed for the students to express their concerns in these areas and have them addressed in a very relaxed fun atmosphere.

June Medal Test Day hosted by Bob Blank and Martha Estevez, at their Bailamosdance Studio in New York. Lori Woods Gay, Examiner. Congratulations to Denise Duca for her Medals success.
Medal Test Day hosted by USISTD Professionals, Ellen Tittler and Cameron Johnson was held on May 1st at the Sandra Cameron Dance Center in New York City.
As the following photos will attest, beautiful dancing was exhibited and a good time was had by all! Following the Medal Tests, each of the candidates took advantage of the opportunity to have a fifteen minute mini coaching session with the Examiner.
The Examiner reviewed the comment sheets with each student. Advice was given to each student as to how to improve their future dancing.
The students found that the mini lesson given after the Medal Test was particularly helpful.
The afternoon was topped off with a delicious cheese cake that thanked teachers Ellen and Cameron for their wonderful teaching and support.
